Baby

Meet Baby! Chihuahua Mix Approx. 3 yrs old 9 lbs ‘Nobody puts Baby in the corner!’ She is a little bundle of cuddliness! Baby is hoping she can find a family who has someone home most all day because she just loves attention. Baby’s idea of a great day is to curl up in a little ball on your lap or next to you, under a blanket of course! Baby also enjoys going for walks and is great on a leash. Baby is a great little girl as she is no trouble when she is in a home. She doesn’t get into things she shouldn’t and her foster mom leaves her uncrated, even when no one is home. Baby is also potty pad trained which makes things very easy, especially during those cold winter months!!! Baby loves all people that she meets and gets along great with other dogs and cats! Besides Baby’s great personality, she has an ADORABLE little underbite and a snaggle tooth that sometimes appears when she smiles! When Baby was rescued, she was covered with fleas. As a result, she had horrible dermatitis of her skin and some hair loss on her back and near her tail. She has been fully treated by a vet and her hair is growing back, though some areas are still sparse. The vet’s predict that her hair will fully...

Hudson

Meet Hudson Lab mix 11 weeks Approx. 8 lbs. Hudson traveled to rescue from AL with his 5 siblings. He is hoping to find a safe and loving home where he can spend his life. Hudson is full of energy and loves playing with toys! He loves to explore and enjoys spending time with other animals. Hudson gets along with everyone he meets. He has a healthy appetite and is ready to be someone’s lifelong buddy. He is a quick learner and will be a great family dog! As with all puppies, Hudson is still learning about potty training and crate training. Hudson will need to be with a family who is home most of the day so that he can continue his puppy training and socialization. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check...

She has put on weight, measuring up to 20 pounds, and is very active in our yard with our older dog. In the home, she has begun housebreaking and is comfortable sleeping in her crate. She walks beautifully with a harness, and loves meeting other dogs on our walks. Pippa loves chasing balls and tugging on ropes. Pippa has been exposed to kids as young as 6 and seems to do well playing with anyone, when she’s comfortable enough to get close to you. She’s very energetic and would benefit most from a fenced yard. When she has been left home alone, in her crate, she seems to be very comfortable. She is always excited when you return, but, we have not left her alone for more than an hour at a time. She sleeps through the night in her crate, and never makes a sound. As she became more comfortable in our home, she adjusted nicely to our schedule. Pippa would be a great addition to any family. With time and patience, she seems to adjust well. She would be comfortable in a home with or without another pet, and seems comfortable with all ages of children. Once over...
