Daffy is a shy, but affectionate puppy. She can be a little skittish if she is approached too quickly, but if you are patient she will come to you. She is extremely submissive and offers her belly for some rubs every chance she gets.

Daffy enjoys going on leisurely walks so she can check out her surroundings. She is well behaved on a leash and easy to manage. She also loves to spend time outside and is content to sunbathe for a significant amount of time on the deck.

She is a smart girl and will be easy to train. She already knows how to “sit” on command and responds to corrective cues like “drop it” and “no”. She is easily motivated by food as well as affection. Daffy is mostly house broken, but needs to be let out frequently during the day since she is still young. Right now she sleeps with one of her fosters and can definitely make it through the night without any mishaps.

Daffy, like most puppies, loves to chew. She will need plenty of toys to keep her busy. She especially loves tennis balls, bones, and squeaky toys. Due to her chewing, she has been put in a crate during the day if she needs to be left alone. She doesn’t mind the crate at all and will contentedly lay in there until she is let out.

Daffy gets along well with other dogs. In her foster house, she engages in play time with all the other dogs, including big dogs. She will even curl up next to them on the floor.

Gentle and calm, Daffy is eager to please those she adores, yet still knows how to keep herself busy and maintain her independence. Daffy is THE ONE who will make your family complete. Come meet her today!
