Ginger is a 13 lb, 5 year old Miniature Pinscher mix. She spent a short time at a shelter in Tennessee after being surrendered by elderly owners that could no longer care for her. She came to Illinois in late July and has been a joy in her current foster home.

Ginger is housebroken and sleeps through the night in her crate. She has made great progress walking on a leash and obeying basic commands. She is gentle as can be and super sweet with children. Ginger is fine with dogs, but chases the cat in her foster home. Ginger has some spunk and would do well in an active home. She is very playful, but not hyper. She loves to cuddle on the couch, play fetch, and show off some of her circus-dog-like tricks. Ginger really is an amazing family dog!
