Meet Peanut!!
Feist/terrier mix aka adorable
Currently 10.8 lbs
Currently 13 weeks

Meet Peanut, she’s guessed to be about 13 weeks and she’s the cutest little peanut you’ll ever meet. Peanut has two modes: energizer bunny and cuddle bug. She’s wonderful with kids and loves to run around outside, a fenced in area would be great for her. Peanut loves to be outside on a long leash to play and relax. Beware though, she’s earned the nickname of Houdini. She can escape collars and harnesses, and even scaled a little doggy playpen. Outside supervision is definitely necessary.

Peanut is (mostly) crate trained and can be left alone for a few hours. Remember, she’s just a puppy and still requires a lot of attention. And she deserves it! She is almost potty trained and will go to the back door when she needs to be let outside. And if she does have an accident, she’s nice enough to do it on a puppy pad.

She would make the perfect puppy for just about anyone who is willing to be the perfect human for her. She’s funny, playful, adorable, and you’re sure to fall in love right away. She loves belly rubs, sleeping on laps, and any and all toys. A totally perfect pup.

Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies.

Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog.

Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.

We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email for an application or additional details.

Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
