Picasso is a gorgeous puppy with striking blue/grey eyes that will melt your heart. Not only does he attract oohs and ahhs from adoring fans for his pretty face, but he leaves them wanting more when they see his fun-loving personality.

Picasso is a happy go lucky pup! He loves to romp and explore his surroundings, play tug, or chew on a toy. He is very social and loves to be around people of all ages. He can handle running after big kids or being squished by little toddlers. Picasso gets along with other dogs and is not afraid to lick their faces or engage in a good wrestling match.

He likes attention and will enthusiastically greet you with as many kisses as you can handle. When Picasso is ready, he will seek you out for some extra cuddle time, or if time allows, a nice long nap nestled in your lap. He especially delights in rolling over to get some belly rubs from you!

Picasso is working on his manners. He is learning to come when called and also how to sit. He is easily motivated by food and will be easy to train. He is also working on house training and will need to be taken out frequently since he is still so young. He is learning to signal that he has to go potty by going to the door. He will contentedly sleep through the night in his crate nuzzled into a blanket, but will really enjoy sharing a bed with you. Picasso does like to chew (which is common for puppies when they are teething) so he will need plenty of toys to help him get through this phase.

Picasso is ready to add some color into your life!

Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies.

Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog.

Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.

We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details.
